Samaneri Janasāra reads philosophical texts sourced mostly from theistic traditions. These range from Buddhist to Gnostic writings (and beyond). If you’re not sure where to begin, try clicking anything in the “Teachings Suitable for Beginners” playlist.
The texts vary in type and origin. Some are canonical to long-standing religions, while others are accounts from Christian mystics and other occult thinkers. The intention is to open ourselves to the unexhaustible breath of ideas and questions, spanning different eras and geographies.
Google arts and culture allows you to explore high-resolution art for free. It's essentially a free art musuem from home. It is very well organized: search by artist, art movement, mediums, places, etc. Works are displayed chronologically, by popularity, or by colour.
Reference angle is for FREE portrait practice and references. Move the 3D head to find the drawing angle your looking for. Select from options (gender, age, sunglasses, mushtache, etc.) and a library of appropriate photographic references will display. (No A.I)
Line of action offers students with all kinds of FREE references and timed activities. The subject matter ranges from animals, portrais, figure, hands and feel, environments, and shapes. You may create your own practice flow (timed) or select class mode (up to 6 hour class blocks, including breaks). (No A.I)
Quick poses is excellent for gesture drawing practice. You can select between: custom searched poses, random poses, challenge mode, or timed mode. Although the focus of this website is on figure references, this website includes other types of references (portrait, landscape, animals). (No A.I)
Different to the other figure-style references, pose maniacs uses 3D render's of musculo-skeletal human bodies. In this way, you can move the angle, camera, and lighting around. You may search poses, or choose between poses of the day. (No A.I)
